Products» Air Pollution Control»»Bio Filters Amerair makes a complete line of bio filters for removal of odor and H2S. The biological degradation of many of the  odorous compounds, result in the formation of acids. In the bio filters a medium is used to provide an optimal site for  microbiological activity. The micro-organisms are capable of removing odor and other compounds.   In the Bio reactor, the air containing  compounds such as H2S and other  odorous compounds is introduced at  the bottom of the reactor. The air then  passes upward through the media.  The micro-organisms present on the  media degrade this into e.g. CO2,  salts, water and biomass.
